3v3 FE Holiday Shootout

Teams:

• Maximum 6 skaters and 1 goalie
• Goalies can play for multiple teams (if needed)
• Teams will be created based on signups to ensure as even teams as possible
• Skater can only play for 1 team
• Players should bring a dark and light colored jersey

Format:

• 3 V 3 half ice (blue line into zone)
• Neutral Zone will be used for player subs and staging area for next game
• Twelve Minute running clock for all games (all half ice)
• Ten Minute running clock for all games (all full ice)
• Minimum 4 games for all teams
• Playoff seeding will be based on round robin play
• Teams will be awarded 2 points for a win
• Teams will be awarded 1 point for a tie
• Total goals against will be used for any tie breakers

Gameplay:

• No Offsides
• No Checking
• If a penalty is called, this will result in a penalty shot for the team the penalty was called for.  All other skaters will line up against the boards behind the offensive teams net except for the skater taking the penalty shot. Upon the whistle all players are released back into gameplay and can play any rebound from the penalty shot.
• If the goalie makes a save or a goal is scored, play should resume behind the net 
• Changes are at player discretion 
• If the puck leaves the playing area the official will place a new puck behind the net closest to where the puck left play
• If the puck hits the net and re-enters gameplay, play should resume automatically
