USA Hockey Number
Renewed every season- you will need a current USA Hockey Number to proceed with SafeSport Training, Age-Specific Modules, and Coaching Clincs/CEP.
PA Act 153 Clearances

Renewed every 5 years- required for NCSI Background Check. All three clearances must be completed prior to submitting the NCSI Background Check.
**The Volunteer Affidavit can only be used in place of the FBI Criminal History Background Check by anyone who has lived in PA for the last 10 consecutive years AND is participating as a volunteer with USA Hockey.**
Renewed every 2 years- you must submit your three completed PA Act 153 Clearances (above) to obtain the NCSI Background Check.
Go to the USA Hockey Learning Center to access and register for coursework and clinics, including SafeSport.
Complete the USA Hockey Age-Specific Module for the level you are coaching. Coaches must have current CEP/clinic, Age-Specific Modules and SafeSport.
